This is the one that started the revolution - the
big daddy of the RC Truck market. Traxxas is the originator of the
high-performance monster trucks in both the electric and the nitro (gas powered)
categories - and the T-Maxx is their masterpiece.

RC Truck from Traxxas
The first thing you'll notice about a Traxxas
Tmaxx is its size. Everything is bigger - the tires, the frame, and
the power. If you haven't seen a Traxxas Tmaxx move, you're in for a
treat. We fell in love with the high powered whine of it's OptiDrive
forward/reverse two-speed transmission and Revo spec brakes. But the heart
of this beast is its TRX 2.5R Racing Engine. That's tech talk for power -
and the T-Maxx is available in several varieties of electric and nitro engines
and prices. There's even a 4 wheel drive version - which totally rocks
(but the 2-wheel version is more than adequate for most users - trust us.)
The Tmaxx is well known for it's drive anywhere

power. While that's true, we also love this RC
Truck for its affordability. The electric models are a nice starting point
for the beginner - and prices start at about $300. For power that won't
fade, we highly recommend the more versatile nitro gas powered model that's
about $100 more.
The T-Maxx is a RTR kit (Ready to Run), so no
assembly is required. These are large 1/10 scale models and can reach
speeds up to about 40 MPH.
