The Traxxas Tmaxx is the best selling RC Truck on the planet…  It's big.  It's mean.  It's relatively affordable!

Traxxas makes the Tmaxx in both gas powered (Nitro) and electric versions (Traxxas E-Maxx).

Both are 1/10 scale and come ready-to-race straight from the box. 

The T-Maxx sits square in the middle of Traxxas line of RC Trucks.  The entry level Savage is available for about $250-$300.  Tmaxx is generally in the $380 – $480 range (different sized engines are available), and the Revo is at the top of the payscale. 

For pure value and performance, we love the T-Maxx as it inherits much of the Revo's infrastructure.  From the TRX 3.3 racing engine, the Nitro Tmaxx can run up to 45MPH.  The electric can actually go up to 60mph (but then requires recharging, vs. just adding more nitro fuel for the gas version that we prefer).
